Lucan, King of the East, and Jana, our Queen, to the counts, viscounts, barons, seneschals, provosts, justices, bailiffs, and all to whom in the future as well as the present, these letters should come, greetings. By this, our present and irrevocable charter, we do give and grant in perpetuity to Galefridus Peregrinus the estate and station of the Order of the Manche; and we do further order and establish that the aforesaid Galefridus have, hold and enjoy all of the rights appertaining thereto in perpetual freedom, in full and in peace, as we have given them to him with free will and confirmed the same in writing and before witnesses. That the aforesaid grant, justly, legally, and freely done, may remain undisturbed in the future, we have had this charter marked with the protection of our seal for the force of perpetual authority. Dated at Ostgardr, upon 10 September in the 46th year of our Society.

-----------------------------------

In nomine sancte trinitatis et individue unitatis amen. Gui et Johanne,
Viceroy and Vicereine of the Crown Province of Ostgardr, to all of our
faithful to whom the present letters come, greetings. Human actions,
which are solemnly celebrated in time are accustomed to pass away with
time and often because of the uncertainty of things are destroyed, so that
they have no efficacy; therefore it is useful and altogether necessary
that those things which can, through a long course of time, slip from
memory and be very easily annulled, be preserved by letters and witnesses.
To remove, therefore, the vestiges of all ambiguity, let the present age
of men as well as the posterity to come know that Alexandre Lerot
d’Avigne and Eularia Trewe have well, justly, faithfully and honorably
served as Viceroy and Vicereine of Ostgardr, and have honorably acquitted
themselves thereby. Therefore, lest their good deeds be destroyed by time
and pass beyond human memory, We have caused the present letters to be
drawn up and recorded and do by their force and power attest, aver and
affirm the excellent and remarkable service rendered by the aforesaid
Alexandre and Eularia and further offer such blessings and thanks as are
within our power to bestow. Done in this 46th year of the Society, upon
the feast of Saint Salvius, being the date of our Investiture, 10
September. Witnesses of this are the following:
