I had a very cool idea for a gaming campaign last night while working until 2 a.m.  Think a combination of The Stand, Carnevale and Heroes.  Six people wake up in hospital beds in an abandoned city with no memory of who they are.  They have strange powers.  The world may or may not have come to an end while they were sleeping.  Hijinx ensue.

I have no idea what system I would run this in or when in hell I would ever find the time to run it.  But I thought my fellow gaming geeks would appreciate the concept.  Drop a footnote crediting me if you use it.

I was thinking something in the same lines (with, in theory, a shorter drive ;)

Sorry folks. No new employment = no new gaming.

Perhaps the city being deserted has something to do with the queerly mutated creatures that lurk in the alleys...and what are those strange hovercraft gliding silently over the rooftops? ;-)

... I'd suggest

Either use "Feng Shui" for the action/ chopsuki feel, or use the HERO system for the ability to build out a set of unique powers and chars.

Its a very cool idea, either way.
