I never thought of you as a surfer babe but I then again I should get out more.

Not a surfer babe, per se, but there's something about the guitar riffs of The Ventures and Dick Dale that put me in a happy mood. I am in need of a little happy - thus, surfer music comes to the office today.

Perhaps we should plan a trip to cloisters for us and the cadets/fiber geeks and we can all work on sharing a bit of happy with one another.

Gee that's a horrible thing to suggest! Why torture us so?? :P

Because I want to make lumineaux and myself happy. What better way to do that than by torturing the likes of you and Lissa and one or two others.

You should be taking notes on how to treat your own students and cadets.

That's funny. I completely missed the "surf rock" thing at the bottom, and was convinced you meant the Dvorak! ;-)

Nice :-) It takes the right kind of music geek to recognize that Dvorak is not really the same as the rest. I approve.

But I did mean the surf rock :-)

Wow,

Someone else who turns to surf rock when things are down. I'll often do that or pull out my old VHS copy of Bruce Brown's "Endless Summer".
