Well . . . crap
Dec. 27th, 2005 03:05 pmI have pneumonia. I have a note from my doctor saying that I'm not supposed to go to work until after the New Year. Needless to say, our plans for New Year's Eve are now highly suspect.
I'm going back to bed and waiting for Griffyn to bring me cough meds with codeine and antibiotics from the pharmacy.

Date: 2005-12-27 08:55 pm (UTC)... being sick does sometime have an upside, however. Use this mandated rest period to watch stupid TV, read books, be spoiled, eat soup, and in general let your mind and body relax.
Trust me, its the only way.

Date: 2005-12-29 12:37 am (UTC)Can't watch DVDs because the basement is under quarantine due to the mold.
Computer is dead so no CoH. (Stealing John's computer for a little while right now).
Out of books that I haven't already read.
Am I in the first layer of hell and no one mentioned it to me?

Date: 2005-12-29 03:20 pm (UTC)Well that is teh suck. I remember how sick Steve was when he had pneumonia the previous winter.
I know not having the necessary reading materials or hell, even a PC to mess with can make one stir crazy. As far as NYE goes, see how you feel but don't push it. You seriously need time to just do nothing but let your body recuperate. Otherwise, you could make things worse and then be stuck in the hospital.
And no one wants that.
