Name That Christmas Tune, day 18

As the snow falls here at stately Mt. Mackyntoich, we have two tunes for your consideration.  First, a challenging one:

From the distant mountains,
Hear the trumpet sound.
With angelic blessings
On the silent town.

Kudos to rocksryan , who more or less correctly identified this as "Sing We Nowell"




And the second, easier one:

Strings of streetlights, even stoplights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures

a.) Sing we of Noel? Not exactly sure of the name, definitely by kingston trio. My Dad loved that group, and we heard it all while growing up.
