BSG is back!
Jan. 7th, 2006 12:13 pmBattlestar Galatica returned in all of its glory last night. Squee! We managed to hook up my computer monitor to the cable modem/phone connection and rig a TV into the computer room just for the occasion. I haven't been so thrilled by a TV show since Farscape went off the air or season four of B5.
Oh, and SG:1 was back too, which means Ben Browder in tight T-shirts - although none on display last night. Not as good as Ben in leather pants, but I have my Farscape DVDs for that. :-)
For those who've asked, yes, I'm feeling better. Chest is cleared up for the most part, so the likelihood of a pneumonia relapse gets smaller every day. Work kicked my ass a little this week, though, so I'm trying to spend this weekend mostly being a slug and sleeping.
I also managed to load Scrabble onto my new computer this morning, and then get owned by the AI opponent. Out of practice, clearly. Too much CoH, too little word geeking.
So those are my rambling thoughts for the morning.

Date: 2006-01-09 03:15 pm (UTC)I watched it this morning before work. I should have waited till later in the week. :-( I am such a TV Addict.
There was an Article in the Star Ledger on friday about BSG entitled "In a war far away, eerie echoes of home" by Alan Sepinwall
Haven't read the whole thing, but at first glance.. pretty amusing.

I look forward to the return of our SciFi Friday & Chinese food fests, with our newly remediated TV room, big red couch, you and your lovely lady, and now Teo and Aldan too!
