5.  Vengeance in Death - J.D. Robb
6.  Holiday in Death - J.D. Robb
7. Conspiracy in Death - J.D. Robb
-- All near-future murder mysteries that are a cross between romances and police procedurals.  In other words, complete brain-rot.  But highly entertaining when I have insomnia (as I have on and off since January 1st)
