Book recommendation

While I was fighting off pneumonia around the holidays, I picked up two books by Gregory Keyes: The Briar King and The Charnel Prince. If your taste runs to fantasy novels, I highly recommend these. They are not the usual Tolkien rip-off. There are also a few choice tidbits scattered throughout for language and history geeks.
