And lo, there was fencing
Feb. 2nd, 2006 11:03 pmOr an amazing facsimile. Well, not really so amazing. Doing 50 hours of typing in the 4 days leading up to practice is not really conducive to fencing with schlagers, even my pansy-ass light schlagers. My hands hurt like hell. My thighs are reminding me that I haven't done serious footwork in a month and wore high heels three times last week. But my back doesn't hurt and my shoulders don't hurt, which is all to the good.
The real bummer was that, by the time I was finally really warmed up, it was time to stop.

Are your schlagers lighter than mine? I don't remember comparing

Date: 2006-02-03 02:36 pm (UTC)I know how you feel. We only get our practice space for 3 hours, and the first half is usually taken up by socializing and teaching. I'm usually just getting into the grove when I realize it's time to change and go home.
Glad to hear you were able to fence, though!
