Defeated by physics

We had a few packing problems, so some things are getting left at home.  Most notably, the 10 x 10 pop up that we were going to use as the herald's office.  I am trying to think of creative ways to solve that problem once I get out there.   Read the profuse swearing as assumed.

The really important stuff (beds, clothing, booze, games, books, tents and Engracia) are all still coming with me.

I have one of those popup assemble thingys like we use on the fencing field to keep fencer types out of the sun. Would that be useful?

Seems to me that a popup tenty thing should be able to fold up so as to be rolled up around its own poles then tied, like a bed roll, to a bumper, luggage rack, or what-have-you...
or you could just borrow the one kindly offered above. Depends on just how anti-physics you happen to feel... stinking physics...

The pop up has a metal frame and walls, designed to provide maximum protection for scrolls. It takes up just enough space to be incredibly inconvenient.
