Ryan's Pelican Scroll
Sep. 30th, 2009 11:31 pmAndreas the Fourth, King of the East, always august, and Gabriella the Second, Queen; as a perpetual memorial of this matter. Inasmuch as We, through the office by which We possess the imperial dignity, are singularly empowered to recognize the good, worthy and notable works of Our subjects by bestowing upon them certain honors, and inasmuch as the labors of our subject Ríán Mac Faoitigh, known by some as Ryan McWhyte, as archer, archery marshal, Central Region Archery Commander, youth marshal, Queen’s guard and herald have aided and sustained this, our glorious East Kingdom, and inasmuch as persons of good character and noble rank have attested to the qualities and virtues of the said Ríán, We do now promulgate, decree and recommended for ratification the present charter. We decree, and, by the present imperial and ever valid edict, do sanction of certain knowledge and from the plenitude of the imperial power: that Ríán Mac Faoitigh be and hereby is elevated, endowed and inducted into the Order of the Pelican and shall henceforth enjoy such rights, privileges, duties, as attend thereon. We decree moreover and command that the said Ríán be and hereby is invested with Arms by letters patent, to wit: Sable, a pale counter-ermine fimbriated between in chief two lozenges argent. This we have done in our solemn court at River War, in the Barony of Iron Bog, amid a numerous multitude of princes, counts, barons, magnates, nobles and citizens; after mature deliberation, from the fullness of our imperial power; sitting on the throne of our imperial majesty, adorned with the imperial bands, insignia and diadem; in the year of our Society XLIV, upon the 26th day of September.

Followed by some giggling fits at "after mature deliberation,".
Just the same, thank you so much for doing the words on his scroll. I don't think wild horses could have held you back from doing it. :)
*hugs*
