On the one hand, there is the hitting of people with swords: always a good thing.

On the other hand, there is this enormous pile of work that never seems to get any smaller.

Hmmm. I suppose I'll just say expect me when you see me.

I've promised to be in the kitchen. I'll be there :)
I'm also supposed to discuss with [livejournal.com profile] zaduzbina and [livejournal.com profile] loosecanon
I'm also the on-site contact to let the Tads know that it's cleaning time
I also just promised to drive Philly there
I think for one event I did pretty good in not promising too much stuff :D

BTW, when/how do you want your arbre etoile if you don't go there?

It is looking very much like I will be going. So it would be nice to see you there.

Hitting people with swords=good idea
Working until the cows come home=bad idea

You're also more than welcome to crash at the Hotel Brooks, if. Same goes for Malcolm too. We're only about 15-20 minutes from the site. As far as I know the game plan is to hit the event through Court, those not staying for feast head back here for eats, and then await the Tad signal from Bruni for those that are heading back to clean up.

The Tad signal
I'm getting amusing visuals
I'll keep them to myself I think :)

Yep. I am.

I very much enjoyed his feast at Crown Tourney and Love and War. But, two things are working against this feast. One, I'll most likely only be eating one course seeing as I don't eat fish and am just generally a picky eater. Two, it's an extra $12 for the feast, making the total day trip/feast cost $22 a person. The site is only 15 minutes from our house. So I'd prefer to save a few bucks and come home to eat.

Or we could go repeat our "falling asleep in our food" performance at that pasta place. :-)

True. I figure those that want to come back and eat here, can. If it's just Thomas and myself coming back, that's fine too. We'll be heading back to the site later in the evening to help with clean up.

One of locals has 2 feast seats she is going to have to give up due to a sudden mundane conflict, if you know anyone who wants to pick them up. If I could be sure that I would be attending, I'd take them, but I can't be sure.

Thanks muchly for the invite. But I have to run a D&D game starting at 3pm on Sunday, and being home to prep on Sunday morning would probably be a good thing. :-)

The work/play conflict will rage for the rest of the week. It's going to have to be a Friday night decision, I think.

Ah. No worries. Give 'em Hell on Sunday then. ;-)

Hopefully you'll be able to go. But I can understand if work keeps you buried.

This is the Isig Irregulars, featuring a couple of players you know. :-) Somehow with that group, they usually seem to get the better of me most of the time. :-)

Yup. I figured that's who was playing. I knew you were due for a game.

You just need to scale the game up a bit. Throw some wacky shit at them, you know. Put them in their place. ;-)

I don't think some of the people at that table could be put in their place(s) by anything short of an act of divine intervention. Certain Frenchmen and certain Spaniards come to mind. :-) :-)

Bwahahahahahah

Well then you just need to have some surly, pissy God get annoyed with their foppish and unruly ways and smite them. But in a divine way. :-D

Read this Dork Tower comic and it seemed relative to the D&D conversation:
