Khioniya's Silver Crescent Scroll
Oct. 12th, 2009 06:45 pmKonrad and Brenwen, Rex et Regina Orientalis, to our servant Khioniya
Nikolaevna Ryseva: The authority of the Crown of the East had its
origin in King Maragorn and Queen Adrienne, founders of Our line, and
the great King Cariadoc, who declared war upon himself, and the
valiant great King Randal and Queen Katherine, who led Eastern armies
against the godless Midrealm, then it passed to the avengers of
wrongs, our ancestors, the great King Thorvald and Queen Svava, and
the praiseworthy great King Darius and Queen Roxanne, who obtained
great victories over the sons of the Dragon upon the fields of
Aethelmearc, and to our father of blessed memory, the great King
Andreas until it reached us, the humble scepter- bearers of the
Eastern Empire. Here follows the command of the orthodox, truly
Eastern Majesties: Wherefore, by virtue of your service as scribe,
teacher, Tyger Clerk of the Signet and councilor to Crowns, you have
shown yourself to be of singular and remarkable worth; and Wherefore
since the reign of our mighty ancestors Akbar and Khadijah, it has
been the duty and privilege of the Eastern Crown to recognize,
acknowledge and ratify individuals such as yourself with the sign and
insignia of the Order of the Silver Crescent; and having taken counsel
from the boyar and boyar kinsmen of our Realm and having heard
abundant and multifold praise and of your deeds and your character;
and having by evidence of our own eyes avouched the quality of your
many labors; We do now by these present Imperial and unassailable
letters endow, bestow and invest you with the sign and insignia of the
said Order. Written in our great Oriental Realm, in the famous,
Imperial Barony of Bhakail, on the steps of our imperial threshold, in
the year from the creation of the Society XLIV, the 11th day of October.

Tsar and Sovereign Ivan IV to All His Russian Tsardom Against Those
Who Have Broken the Pledge of Allegiance, Against Prince Andrei
Kurbskii and His Comrades, Concerning Their Treacheries
