Roger Ebert on New Moon: "[S]itting through this experience is like driving a tractor in low gear though a sullen sea of Brylcreem."

Yeah . . . um . . . Roger? Anyone of the age to be vaguely interested in this movie probably has no idea what Brylcreem is. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brylcreem)

I had a hard time putting them down (well, parts of New Moon were boring as hell, but they were trying to get a point across). I think the movies are a pale shadow of the books, but stick mainly to the points. Much better than some other movie-from-book attempts (Interview with a Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Eragon).
I'll likely see them all as they come out.
Of course it would be nice if they could add some acting in there as well as taller casting for the werewolfs. They are supposed to be 7' tall for goodness sake!
