This one caused some consternation last year since it has multiple names. I now have a fuller list of the names so I can give credit where credit is due: Shepherds, in the field abiding, Watching over your flocks by night, God with us is now residing; Yonder shines the infant light And the answer for today is:  Angels From the Realms of Glory  And, since I'm feeling the need to be challenging, let's see who is able to get this one: Now the holly bears a berry as white as the milk, And Mary bore Jesus, all wrapped up in silk This one is proving to be a stumper as I suspected.  Let me give this hint: It's NOT the Holly and the Ivy.  There is no ivy in the song.  Only holly.

Believe it or not, no. It's got one of those names that has nothing to do with the lyrics.

Ugh. I can totally sing the tune of the first one but can't remember for the life of me what the title of the carol is.

Ok, I want to say that it's something like "Shepherds Watching O'er Their Flocks By Night".

Or maybe I'm just making up that title based on the content of the lyrics.

Oh, you're totally right! And that was even the tune I was singing, but just couldn't think of the title!

In for Nomi again - isn't the second the Holly and the Ivy again? I thought you did that one.

It's not the Holly and the Ivy. The name of the carol has nothing to do with what's in the lyrics.
