Roger Ebert, fracking national treasure, says this of the movie:  ""The Last Airbender" is an agonizing experience in every category I can think of and others still waiting to be invented. The laws of chance suggest that something should have gone right. Not here. It puts a nail in the coffin of low-rent 3D, but it will need a lot more coffins than that."   http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100630/REVIEWS/100639999

The New York Times, not to be outdone, offers this verdict:  "[T]he best way to watch “The Last Airbender” is probably with your eyes closed."  http://movies.nytimes.com/2010/07/01/movies/01last.html   Let's see them put *that* on the posters.

I read the five (only five!) positive reviews on RottenTomatoes. And even those are "meh, it was flawed, but it was OK".
