I'd forgotten all about this one:
Edward, King of the East, and Marguerite, Queen, to all our barons, constables, bailiffs, officers, liege-men and friends, French and English, both present and future, greetings. Know that we have granted and given, and by this charter confirm, to our loyal vassal Arthur de Beaumont all things written down in this charter. That is, that the said Arthur de Beaumont shall hold in our name the Barony of Havre des Glaces properly, honorably, and peacefully of us and our heirs. We further grant to the said Arthur de Beaumont such power and authority as necessary to serve as Baron of Havre des Glaces and to govern the people thereof reasonably and in our names without any excuses, and faithfully assure our rights and the rights of the aforesaid people of Havre des Glaces. And we do further grant to the said Arthur de Beaumont the following Arms in witness of his elevated station and our royal favor: Argent, within a cross moline disjointed vert nine roses in cross gules seeded Or. So our will may remain certain in the future, we have caused the present charter to be made in witness thereof, and we have affixed hereto the protection of our signatures. Enacted at Havre des Graces, in forty-fifth year of the Society, upon 18 September, being the feast of Saint Ferreolus.
