I would use any of the three for a Viking apron dress. Or of course modern stuff used in an SCA setting, such as cushions.

This would have been my exact comment, but then I see the world through Viking-colored glasses.

I actually like the second one for a GFD, or a houppelande with a nice contrasting lining. Admittedly my tastes tend to be a little French though :)

The second one (the blue) would really be appropriate for just about any non-underwear; its just as simple weave, it looks like - a luxury fabric, to be sure, but a simple fabrication.

The other two look a little too slubby to be anything other than early period, although in the case of the third one that might just be a trick of the photo. Maybe sleeves?

Early period is good; it's easy to alter.

I like the first one, LOVE the second one (pout-sucks to be poor), not inspired by the third one.

First one I could see anything up to 14 century. Viking, any period tunic, hose..., if you get it and it has a nice hand and sheen, even just trimmings or edge bindings on a wool or linen garment.

Second one same as the first and also a lovely cote (drool), even a houppeland... or stencil it for some lovely household furnishings (rugs, wall hangings, bed curtains, pillows.........

Coolness.
If I wasn't packing and about to move and had not promised myself to not order any more fabric until I've made a dent in what I have... I would have gone for it myself :)

It's going to become a houpelande. While I have lots of fabric, I don't have enough of any one thing to make a proper houp. Now I do ;-)

The burgundy and the blue would be great colors for you. The other is too washed out.
