2. Is it registered?   Yep

3. What SCA group do you live in?   Barony of Settmour Swamp

4. What kingdom?   East

5. When did you first join?   1988

6. How did you find out about the SCA?  An article in a now ancient copy of Dragon magazine

7. Are you in a guild or household?   Sharc Pit has finally broken down under the pressure and admitted it's a household.  But we aren't your "usual" household in oh so many ways.  TOAD insists on claiming me too.  Founding member of the Sisters of Saint Walburga, who aren't really a household either.

8. How did you join that guild or household?  I was one of the people who created Sharc

9. What do you DO in the SCA?  Fencing, heraldry (all aspects), making order out of chaos, sewing badly

10. have you ever held an office?  Many

11. What office did you hold and for how long?     3 years as Deputy Kingdom Marshal of Fence, 3 years as Kingdom Marshal of Fence, 5 years as Baronial Fencing Marshal, going on 5 years as Baronial Herald, about 2 years now as Elmet Herald

12. What is your persona?   Officially 16th century Scottish from Inverness, but I can't seem to make myself 16th century clothes; I have two "alts": Sister Alis Helpusgod, a 12th century English nun, member of the Sisterhood of Saint Walburga, and Alays de Brantome, High Middle Ages French.

13. Have you brought anyone into the SCA?  Many.

14. Did they stay in the SCA? I run about 50/50

15. what keeps you in the SCA?  My friends, including the ones I  haven't met yet.  The ability to do something and see a concrete result.

16. Ever been to Pennsic?  Many times

17. Ever been to another Known World event other than Pennsic?  Several Known World Rapier Academies

18. Ever travelled outside your country for an SCA event?    Nope  Canada!  How can I forget going to Canada!?!  I've been to Nova Scotia and Quebec several times, including once in January.

20. What do you think of the award structure in your kingdom?  It's fubar'd but probably unfixable without a complete reboot

21. Do you have a persona?  I have a reputation, which is equally as fictional  ;-)

22. Do you try and stay in persona at events?  Nope. 

23. Are your friends in the SCA also friends outside the SCA?  Yes

24. Do you know their REAL NAMES?  A very large number of them, yes.  Sometimes we even call each other by those names.  ;-)

25. If you could change one thing about the SCA, what would it be?  Run the corporation better, with real risk management and an effective legal department
