Today was the longest day of the year a/k/a the summer solstice.   I am sitting in Pasadena, CA, which is surprisingly nice.  The weather is delightful.  I had a delightful seafood dinner and took a short walk through a garden with a lovely set of fountains and eucalyptus plants (mmmm delightful scent).   Business trips generally are not relaxing, but this one is a welcome respite from the chaos around me at work and home.

The mold air test came up mostly clean - just some lingering traces of the less toxic molds.  Yay!  Yay!  There will be air conditioning at Mt. Mackyntoich again by the weekend.  Now the lengthy rebuilding process begins.  But the worst seems to be over.   Yay!  Yay!  Yay!

I'm sure we know each other, but I can't place exactly who you are.

Glad to hear that Pasadena is being good to you. Seriously, if you get a chance you should hit the arboretum that Steve mentioned. http://www.arboretum.org/

He's got some absolutely killer shots from there and it seemed like a place you could wander around and just mellow out. I seriously wanted to go there.

w00t! Yay for the mold testing! And a double w00t! w00t! for air conditioning.

The arboretum looks lovely, but my downtime is limited to only about an hour a day.
