Heraldry Classes At Glenn Linn/NRWC

At Northern Region War Camp in Glenn Linn over 4th of July weekend, there will be a series of classes for heralds and non-heralds alike who are interested in the art and pageantry of heraldry.  

Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. -- Making Yourself Heard: Vocal Techniques for Court and Field, Mistress Alys Mackyntoich (1.5 hours)

Saturday, 12:00 p.m. -- A Guide to the Heraldic Submissions Process, Lady Marie de Blois (1 hour)

Saturday, 1:00 p.m. -- Picking and Documenting a Medieval Name, Mistress Alys Mackyntoich (1 hour)

Saturday, 2:00 p.m. - Herald Eye for the Fighter Guy, Lady Marie de Blois (1 hour)

Saturday, 3:00 p.m.  Heraldry for Second-Generation SCAdians, Mistress Alys Mackyntoich (and, hopefully guests) (1 hour)

Some of these look like great classes. Unfortunately Glenn Linn is out of my range for travel just yet. Will there be any hand outs?

Maybe. Since these are all new classes for me, I have yet to write them ;-) I mean, I know precisely what I'm going to say for each of my classes, I just have yet to commit that to paper.

I'll have one for the Submissions Process class, though I need to update it for the East Kingdom. Not sure about the other one - I have a handout for the way I've taught it before, but it's possible I'm going to something different this time.

No, it does not involve trying to come up with heraldry that involves snarky or funny names, but I have no problem with trying to not snarf beverages if the conversation goes in that direction. :)
