Lucan Rex and Jana Regina, to all our faithful in the present and the future, greetings. Whenever our faithful subjects propose things that are in harmony with the motive of justice and pertain to the good weal of the Kingdom, not only should they not be denied with stubborn mind, but they should be granted laudably with ready heart and benevolent mind. And, having heard the petitions of our subjects concerning Auriana of the Bridge and those of her deeds as have attained renown, and having likewise heard report of the aforesaid Auriana’s good will and bountiful labors, and having of our own knowledge confirmed the aforesaid Auriana’s excellence in all things fitting and proper for a noble lady, therefore, commanding, we order that Auriana of the Bridge be raised to the station, status and rank of a Baroness of our Court and do further grant unto her such arms as are just, rightful and fitting for her to bear. So that it be truly believed and held firmly in future times, we have signed the present charter with the subscription of our own hands upon this 11th day of June, A.S. XLVI, in the Barony of the Bridge.
