And this is Alys nagging you: Even if hot guys don't remind you, do your self-exams.  Go to the doctor when something seems out of the ordinary.  Doing these things will save your life.

Not in the least. But there's a definite cultural expectation that one "should" be looking at the complementary cohort of the opposite sex.

There's also a piece of "conventional wisdom" that older people are less attractive than younger ones. It is, of course, not true.

Ladies (and gentlemen) remember the LOOK part. There is a form of breast cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) that is typically detectable because of a pink or red rash, inverted nipple and/or other out of the norm appearance. Often times there IS NO LUMP. IBC is rare, aggressive and deadly - far more so than virtually all other forms of beast cancer.
