Nov. 20th, 2011 11:19 pmTo all the faithful subjects of the East who shall see or hear this writing, Gregor the King and Kiena the Queen send greetings and all the honours for your good fame. Wherefore we wish and ordain, for ourselves and our heirs, that good deeds and just proclamations should remain fixed and firm in perpetuity, by force of this our present charter all should know that Edmund Patterson has found favor in our eyes and in the eyes of certain notable personages of the Realm by virtue of his untiring, diligent and worthy labors; and by cause of the aforesaid favor and in rightful exercise of the powers lawfully, honorably and singularly invested in the Crown, we do now on this 19th day of November, being the feast day of the aforesaid Edmund’s name saint, give, grant and by the present charter confirm unto the said Edmund the status, title, station and renown of the Order of the Silver Crescent with its pertinents, freedoms and easements, in perpetuity, and we do further invest and endow the said Edmund with the signs and emblems of the aforenamed Order. We further grant and faithfully agree, for ourselves and our heirs, that we will guarantee, acquit and defend in perpetuity the aforesaid endowment of rights, with all pertinents, freedoms and easements which are contained in the present charter and which we conferred on the said Edmund. All the aforesaid things were done on the aforesaid day in the 46th year of the Society, by our consent and assent and by our free will, in testimony of which matter we have caused our signs manual to be appended to the present writing.
