This one counts as a Christmas Tune because it discusses events that are part of the overall Christian Christmas story, and because it was written for and appears in a 16th cen. mystery play.   It also seemed particularly fitting right now:

Of all the versions I've heard, I still have a soft spot for the one I heard first. John Denver had a beautiful voice... :-)
