I did a number of scroll texts for the friends who received awards at 12th Night. Let's start with the Pelican texts.

(1)  Brunissende's Pelican texts, in English and French

In nomine sancte et individue Trinitatis. Amen. We, Edward, by grace
King of the East, and Thyra, our Queen, to the archbishops, bishops,
dukes, counts, viscounts, barons, and all who will see the present
writing, future as well as present, greeting. We wish to make known
to all that we have given and conceded and confirmed by this our
present charter, to our dearest subject Brunissende Dragonette, the
renown, station and status of the Order of the Pelican, to enjoy such
rights, privileges and customs appertaining thereto utterly free and
immune from all infringement, legal exaction, tallage and violence.
Also we have given and granted, conceded and confirmed to the said
Brunissende the right to bear securely and freely the signs, emblems
and seals of the aforesaid Order upon her person; and to take and
accept the fealty of vassals in her own name; and to bear by Letters
Patent the following Arms: Per fess sable and gules, a bar gemel
argent. That this charter may obtain the perpetuity of stability, we
have commended it to writing and strengthened it with the authority of
our seal and the writing of our names. Enacted publicly at Iron Bog,
in the forty-seventh year of the Society, the first of our reign, with
those present in our palace whose names and signs are inscribed below.

In nomine sancte et individue Trinitatis. Amen.

(2) Marie's Pelican text:

Edward, by grace King of the East, and Thyra our Queen, to all to whom these present letters shall come, greeting. Whereas the study of heraldry is the proper pursuit of noble persons; and whereas our good Marie de Blois, formerly White Stag Principal Herald and lately Palimpsest Herald, has advanced the study and science of heraldry to a right and notable degree; and whereas the said Marie has been commended unto us by many good, righteous and notable persons of the several realms of the Knowne Worlde;

Therefore, we will and, by these presents, of our special grace certain knowledge and mere motion, on behalf of Us, Our Heirs and Successors, invest the said Marie with the Order of the Pelican and give and grant to the said Marie all of the liberties, franchises, privileges and immunities appertaining thereto; and we further will that the said Marie shall for all time have, use, enjoy and hold everything pertaining to or regarding the said Order, and shall hereafter and in perpetuity bear upon her person the sign and emblem thereof according to the law and custom of our realm;

And of Our fuller grace, certain knowledge, and mere motion, we will and grant for Us, Our Heirs and Successors by these presents, that the aforesaid Marie shall bear hereafter Arms by Letters Patent, to wit: Per pale pean and erminois

And we do instruct, ordain and proclaim that the said Marie shall hereafter hold, enjoy, and use the liberties, franchises, privileges, and immunities aforesaid, and any one of them, without let or hindrance from Ourselves, Our Heirs or Successors, Our Justices, Escheators, Sheriffs, or other Bailiffs or officials.

In witness whereof We have caused these Our letters to be made patent at Iron Bog upon the 5th of January in the forty-seventh year of the Society, upon the Feast of Epiphany.

Well done! Wish I could have been there; Marie was a close associate of mine. Thank you for writing a fitting text!
