Apologies for missing Day 6; I'm fighting a cold and spent most of yesterday asleep.  So here's a two-fer to make up for missing a day.  There's a theme of a sort to these two (hint).

Strings of street lights
Even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush
home with their treasures


One seems to hear
Words of good cheer
From ev'rywhere
Filling the air
