The glories of His righteousness,

And wonders of His love

(2)  Thus spake the seraph,

And forthwith

Appeared a shining throng

Of angels praising God, who thus

Addressed their joyful song

(3)  A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
