Advent follies again
Dec. 15th, 2006 09:07 amCarol the first:
When the clock is striking twelve, when I'm fast asleep,
Down the chimney broad and black, with your pack you'll creep;
All the stockings you will find hanging in a row;
Mine will be the shortest one, you'll be sure to know.
Carol the second:
He came among us at Christmas time
At Christmas time in Bethlehem
Men shall bring him from far and wide,
Love’s diadem
Jesus, Jesus;
Lo, he comes and loves and saves and frees us.
Edited to add: Wow, I thought these were easy. Here's a hint: the first one is secular
Edited to add: You guys all getting bored with this?
Carol the first: Jolly Old St. Nicholas
Carol the second: Joseph Dearest, Joseph Mine
