Random weirdness of the day
Apr. 6th, 2007 04:05 pmI stopped at Barnes & Noble today on the way home from visiting my grandfather in the hospital. While there, I had occasion to use the ladies' room. There was graffiti on the stall wall - but not the usual juvenile nonsense. Someone (well, several someones apparently) had taken the time to write lengthy diatribes pro and con the war in Iraq on a bathroom wall in the ladies room. The discourse wasn't too bad, either. More informed than several TV "commentators" I could name.
The new user pic is from my cache of pre-Raphaelite clip art. When I first glanced at the whole painting, it looked very cheerful and spring like. Check it out here: http://www.artmagick.com/archive/artists/hacker/pic/10013.aspx
But look more closely at the woman's face. What is her mood supposed to be? Is she sad? Contemplative?
